Due to its ability to dissolve molasses, it allows insects to increase their sensitivity to any other agrochemical and even dehydrate them, causing their death. Therefore, its use as a humectant is recommended because mixed with phytosanitary agents it acts as an enhancer of the insecticidal effect.
