The state in which the Phosphorus is (as Phosphite ion) makes the product have a remarkable fungicidal and fungistatic activity.

FOSFICU prevents copper deficiencies and at the same time provides the crop with a defense against endoparasitic fungi, especially Oomicales (mildew-producing fungi).

To the well-known effects of phosphites as activators of phytoalexins (substances produced by plants, to counteract the attack of diseases), the effects are added as a powerful inhibitor of numerous fungi and bacteria that attack crops. The first ones are formed to a greater or lesser extent in the area where the plant is being attacked, then the application of the product will be done at the point where the disease is found, to increase the natural defenses of the plant in that place. The joint application of copper in this area prevents reinfection of damaged tissues and seals the entry area of new infestations.
